I was on the hunt recently for a search engine optimization company for our company website. We do not have a full time webmaster on site and we discovered that our website was in the bottom half of search results on many relevant keyword searches on the internet.
Upon searching for San Diego SEO companies, I ran across several that seemed to fit our needs. I compared the SEO package offerings of several companies and most seemed very similar, so I decided to talk to some of the companies directly to see if I could determine a difference.
After looking at some examples of work, it became evident that not all SEO companies are the same. Some work to get you to the top of search engines without regard for keeping you there. They are pretty much a “one and done” proposition. Others work with your company to make sure that you are providing exceptional content to keep your site among the top sites on the web.
Eventually, I decided to go with a small SEO company that I ran across after looking at their portfolio and talking with their owner. This company had clients whose sites were much like ours and in a couple months time, they were near the top of the search engines. This seems like the fit for us.
