Sometimes it is not enough to have the superior product. Sometimes, you need to think of creative and charming methods to drive business into your store and keep them coming back for more.  Loyalty programs are structured to reward, and therefore motivate and encourage, loyal buying behavior.

Reward Cards-some businesses use rewards cards that tally up points from customer’s purchases. When customers reach certain point levels, they can trade in their points for merchandise. The more points a person collects, the more luxurious the gift.

Loyalty Clubs-Many businesses, like supermarkets, encourage customers to join clubs. As soon as the customer signs up to become a member, then and only then, can he or she enjoy the privileges of the club, like discounted groceries or free food items.

Frequent Buyer Cards-many companies, like coffee shops and bagel places, utilize these kinds of cards for repeat business. Basically, these cards are used to keep track of how many items are purchased. As soon as the customer buys, 11 bagels, for example, they receive one free bagel.

Customer rewards programs will not only keep customers loyal to your establishment, they also keep your customers satisfied. After all, who wouldn’t to be rewarded for loyalty?
