Living just south of Kissimmee, Florida I rarely have had the need to secure rental cars in Orlando. Well, there was that one time when my engine threw a rod and my insurance company directed me to Orlando rental cars so I could get around.
Other than this one instance, I’ve never really had the experience with the whole rental car checkout experience. Fortunately for me, my fiance is the car rental queen.
We were off to Spring break and were going to need to pick up a Cancun rental car so we could get around during the 8 days we were having fun in the sun.
Since I’m not all that interested in learning how to deal with the car rental Cancun Mexico scene, I simply left it all to her to figure out. And boy am I ever glad I did. Not only did she have reservations for our Cancun rental car before we left Florida, but she had it paid for and pre-checked out.
Admittedly I was a bit curious how we could check the car our even before leaving from our departure site, I let it go. I knew if I got into that discussion with my fiance it would dominate the conversation the entire trip from Florida to Mexico. And I had other interesting activities in mind!
