I had never been to California before so I can only say it was sure a good thing my friend happened to know where to find Bail Bonds in Santa Rosa when I called him in a panic. I did not even really know what in the world Bail Bonds were at the time, having never been in any kind of trouble myself. I mean, I was a star student, you know, the full on straight A kid who did honors programs and advanced calculus in the fifth grade. How would I know anything about that sort of stuff?
Well I got dragged into it incidentally when my friend Pete decided that he was going to get into a bar fight at one of the places we were visiting on our week long road trip over spring break. Next thing I know beer bottles are flying, chairs are being picked up and shoved in our face, and then before I knew it, we were being scruffed by the collars of our shirts and thrown out into the street where the police showed up minutes later and arrested my friend. Some trip! Definitely something I will never forget, or repeat again!
