My brother is a year younger than me so we basically grew up together. We have become very close through the years and now that we are in the university, we even share the same bed.
Our aunt lives near the university compound. Our parents wanted to save money so instead of having to rent in one of the university dormitories we are made to occupy our aunt’s guest room which has a twin bed.
We both felt that we were so crowded in the twin-size. And we both have this habit of reading in our bed and changing positions while reading so it was impossible to be doing that with the two of us on the bed. We really desperately wanted two separate beds for us.
Good thing our aunt has a daybed in the living room. And although we did not ask for it, our aunt was kind enough to offer the bed.
Being the older one, I had to take the smaller bed and the twin-size went to my brother. I do not really mind. Besides, I think the daybed is more comfortable because it has a better mattress.
And now, we can read comfortably anytime we want.
