Even though the character of Tinkerbell the fairy has been around since J.M. Barrie wrote the play Peter Pan back in 1904, and became even more popular in Disney’s animated Peter Pan feature, she’s experienced renewed popularity due in part to a marketing push by Disney to promote their new Tink movie, and also because the character of the saucy little winged fairy in the green dress is just so darned lovable.
What all this means is that Tinkerbell costumes are the hottest costumes available for little girls (and big girls, too!) for the coming Halloween season. Whether you go with a store-bought, ready-made Tinkerbell costume, or decide to make your own fairy costumes, they’re some of the easiest costumes to put together for a little girl, and it’s guaranteed to make your own little girl look positively adorable.
For adult women who want to go to a Halloween party dressed as Tinkerbell, you really need to have the figure for it, or you could wind up looking rather silly.
