I am one of the millions blessed with allergies. I am allergic to everything; the list is so long I won’t bore you with it. Since moving from the northeast to the southwest part of the United States, they have gotten even worse. My husband says my snoring has gotten louder and more constant and he notices I stop breathing for brief periods during the night. He jokes that only he would notice because I am the one sleeping and he is lying awake listening to me snore. With his encouragement and begging, I visited my doctor and after a sleep study, he diagnosed me with sleep apnea.
CPAP Supply provided me with a sleep apnea machine to fit on my nightstand. It has a backup battery station for when I travel or if the electricity goes out. It is fairly small so I don’t feel like it intrudes on my space in the bedroom. I wear the sleep apnea mask each night and the hum of the machine is actually very soothing. It took awhile to get used to sleeping with a mask over my nose but I notice that I wake feeling more refreshed and my husband doesn’t seem as bothered in the morning.
