I have been making a concerted effort to stop being such a pack rat. And I have been making huge strides. My closets are emptier than they have been in years. And I can actually make it through my garage without turning sideways. I even got around to shredding old files dating clear back to the early 1980s. Here’s a hilarious one: I had an owner’s manual from my first car ever which was a Datsun. There isn’t even any such thing as a Datsun now since they are now named Nissan!
And then I turned to my computer. There were programs on there that I had never even used. And it really got embarrassing when my IT buddy came over and helped me get rid of all of the spyware that had accumulated. There were over 100 pieces of that stuff. Do they call those pieces? I don’t know.
The funny one I just spearheaded was cleaning up my email mailing lists. Goodness sakes! There were old girlfriends who wouldn’t give me the time of day today. And there were people with work email addresses at places they have not worked for eons. My email lists were sorely outdated! But they are all cleaned up now!
